A Game Boy Color game was released in 2001 for promotion of The New Addams Family. The game was titled The New Addams Family Series. In this game, the Addams mansion had been bought by a fictional company called "Funnyday" that wanted to tear down the house and surrounding grounds to make room for an amusement park. The games' sequel, The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt (1993), also by Ocean Software, was based on the ABC animated series and was released for SNES, NES, and Game Boy (although the latter two are 8-bit remakes of the first SNES game, swapping Pugsley's and Gomez's roles). paulafromtwoson (March 25, 2007). It’s mostly about Chas’ art and the Addams Family original look. Finally there are Chas Addams notes to the TV show producers, that are short but rather insightful. I adore the art of Chas Addams with his elongated trees, creepy houses and macabre humor. And this book has got to be the best I’ve read on his work. It’s filled with interesting tidbits, special unfinished sketches that I’d never seen, and is organized around each character. There are also special quotes from Addams and his opinions about each character. I learned from this book that Morticia was Chas’ dream girl.
