Do you have 20 minutes to spare and a craving for katsu? Make sure to grab Sushi Go and satiate your hunger for fun! Place the rest of the cards face-down pile in the middle of the play area. Grab something to keep score with, like a pencil and paper or use a notes app in your phone. Sashimi and Maki can be valuable, but they could also end up being wasted efforts if you are not able to either complete a set or get the most. Sushi Go Round carves out its own niche in the crowded field by taking customer service out of the equation. You are the chef, rather than the harried waiter, and all that matters is getting food to the patrons of your humble sushi shop in a timely manner. You don't even have to carry the food out to them. You have one of those newfangled automated sushi joints, where a conveyor belt brings the sushi round, and the customers feed themselves.

All players will choose one card from their hand that they want to keep and place it face down in front of them. 3. Reveal On each turn, all players simultaneously choose any 1 card from their hands that they would like to keep. When each player has done this, the chosen cards are revealed. The cards you chose will remain in front of you on your sushi belt until the end of the round. Example: Chris has 5 maki roll icons, Phil has 3, Amy has 3 and Lisa has 2. Chris has the most and so scores 6 points. Phil and Amy tie for second place, and so divide the 3 points between them, scoring 1 point each. Lisa scores nothing. The game ends after round 3. Sushi cards are scored the same as in rounds 1 and 2, and the pudding cards are now also scored. The maki roll icons, at the top of each maki card, are totalled for each player. A maki card may have 1 to 3 icons on it. Snore War: Drowzee must use Hypnosis when the pendulum hits the center of its swing to put the other Drowzee to sleep. Last one left awake wins. 3. Sushi Tetsu

The player with the most pudding cards scores 6 points. If multiple players tie for the most, they split the points evenly (ignoring any remainder). To my tastes (pun sort-of intended), Sushi Go! works best with more players. It can work at a two-player count, but Phil Walker-Harding included a variant playing it as a twosome. It features a third ‘dummy’ player. Instead of dealing out 10 cards each during set-up, deal three hands of nine cards. (As if you were dealing for a three-player game.) Place the third hand face-down between you and your opponent. When there is only one card left in the hand you receive, it will automatically be played with the other cards you have collected. (Often this final card won’t be of much use, but sometimes an unfortunate player will be forced to leave you with something valuable!) Each day, you'll have a special goal to reach. If you meet this goal, you can move on to the next day. Each day is a new challenge and a new chance to show off your sushi skills! Run, Rattata, Run: Rattata needs to avoid hurdles as it runs on a treadmill to reach the finish line.
