About this deal

Sloan is having a baby and she doesn’t know who the daddy is. I hoped it was Luke’s baby. But my hopes and dreams feel when I found out Asa was tampering with Sloan’s birth control pills. Asa wanted Sloan to be pregnant because he figured there was no way she would leave him if they had a baby together. heres a discussion question for you all: at what point are you allowed to negatively rate a work of fiction because there are certain aspects you morally disagree with? additionally, at what point are you allowed to overlook those personal objections because the overall concept/idea of the story is just so dang interesting? this is the dilemma i am currently facing. Invective words were thrown into this story like sugar in cake. I do not have any problems with a bit swearing in books, but this was over the top. I guess that’s the difference between being loved the right way and the wrong way. You either feel tethered to an anchor….or you feel like you’re flying.

Release Date: The “definitive edition” of Too Late was released on June 27, 2023. It was self-published in various formats throughout the decade beforehand. I moan and attempt to squeeze my legs together, but I can't. There's pressure everywhere. On my chest, against my cheek, between my legs. It takes me a few seconds to pull my mind out of its sleepy haze, but I'm awake enough to know what he's doing. Colleen Hoover put EVERYTHING into Too Late….let me tell ya. It held this my attention for sure, which is not an easy task. so there you have it. how am i supposed to positively rate a book that i really quite enjoyed but dont want to be too generous because there is one major flaw that my conscience wont allow me to overlook? its so much better than 3 stars (its at least a 4), but i personally feel way too guilty with giving anything over that. ughhh.

As an independent American author from Texas, Colleen Hoover came to writing as a hobby, but still something she felt compelled to do. Like most modern working women, she balances her work, her marriage, her two young sons and still finds joy in writing and promoting her own creations. Spice Level: We don’t feel we can appropriately rate the spice level of this book, given the sexual assault content. Sometimes a relationship is truly tested. How far will these characters go to prove their love for each other? How far apart do they have to fall to realize how much they belong together? What is the point of retreat? How will the decisions the make effect the people around them that they hold near and dear to their hearts? This Girl The story is about Sloan, a girl that is apparently very strong and unyielding, however, in my opinion, she comes across as a whiny doormat. The agents of large publishing houses are starting to take a closer look at self-publishing sales. These are indicators of trends and have led to a new category for publishers to consider, that of young adult romance fiction.

As all good writers realize, she writes what she knows – family, friendship, change, and especially love. Her plots and characters have immense appeal among young women readers, and she sets her characters in modern day situations of friendship, new relationships, first love, and heartbreak. Slammed When I read that Too Late would be “different than anything CoHo has ever written before” my reaction was pretty much . . . Ryan, Luke’s partner (previously Dawson for most of the book), shows up at Sloan’s and Luke’s apartment, and when Luke opens the door, Ryan explains that Asa made him come to the apartment. Asa appears and Luke shoots his gun out of his hand. Ryan then shoots each of his legs. He is taken away by cops, and Sloan, Luke, and Ryan are all relieved that these new charges will finally bring him to trial and give him what he deserves. For her fan base, Hoover has also made available a novella for free called Finding Cinderella. How unusual for an author to provide a “thank you “ to their fans for continued support. This is the beauty of internet marketing and social media. Even tough Finding Cinderella is a sequel of sorts, it can stand alone too as its own work. Hopeless

When CoHo released this book, she suggested that this story would be a little edgier and darker than her other reads. Learn everything you need to know about Too Late by Colleen Hoover in this full summary (with spoilers of the ending marked) and book review.

Too Late: A Novel” is one the best and most entertaining novels with a very unique and impressive story. Colleen Hoover is the author of this fantastic novel. Colleen is the author of many beautiful novels. Her most famous novels are Slammed, It Ends with Us, Verity, Ugly Love, November 9, Finding Cinderella, This Girl, Point of Retreat, Losing Hope and many fantastic novels. This novel is also a wise, deep, moving epic by an exceptional writer. The author brings her game A and gives us a mind-blowing story. These characters are unique and refreshing. There are fabulous stand-alone set pieces, engaging characters, glorious prose and a soul-stirring look into the various lives of human. The two are drawn to each other, even when they try to resist, and as secrets are revealed, their bond is intensified. Change in both of them is paramount and both characters hope to heal their emotional scars and live with less boundaries in their young lives. In the companion book Losing Hope, Colleen take the story further, but this time from the perspective of Dean, the troubled youth with secrets to reveal. Luke is slightly disappointed that the work he and Dawson have done is for nothing, and the FBI seems to have busted Asa before their investigation concluded. Too Late was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay darker than I thought it was possible for Hoover to go. I mean, have you seen her? She’s farking adorable.

I mean for real. She just had a book released yesterday that stated the same thing and from what I’ve heard so far it’s the same angsty instalovey bullcrap with some kind of rip-your-heart-out (assuming that you, unlike me, actually have a heart) plot twist (and YASSSSS of course I’ll still read the damn thing). You’re one of the strongest people I’ve ever met,” I whisper. “You are everything Asa doesn’t deserve. And everything I want.” Also, while Hoover is known for “instant love” stories, this one seemed incredibly fast — even for her. Too Late by Colleen Hoover is the story of Sloan, a college student in a two-year codependent and abusive relationship with her boyfriend Asa, a drug dealer. But, at the same time, he’s introduced to the audience as an undercover DEA agent who, along with his partner Dawson, is on a mission to end Asa’s antics once and for all.)

Feelings of guilt and remorse have plagued the young Dean, and he searches for a sense of peace in his dilemma with Sky. When they finally reconnect, a greater pain embraced the young man. For the second installment in the series, readers learn more about Holder’s youth, and his search for redemption in the act of saving another. Connecting with Colleen Hoover I cannot comprehend why the main narrator does not find a job or whatever like a typical college student... She was in dire straits trying to pay for her brother's care until she met Asa. But as Sloan became emotionally and economically reliant on him, he in turn developed a disturbing obsession with her - one that becomes increasingly dangerous every day. It’s at this point that Asa enters the room and the agents depart. It’s revealed that Luke has been set up — the agents were all hired by Asa, and this was Asa’s way of getting Luke to come clean and learn why he has really been around lately. Add to this an important secret that threatens to keep them apart. Hoover writes with description that captivates her readers and doesn’t let go. In this story it is only through poetry that the truth is in their hearts, and the characters of Layken and Will hope for a future where their love can be a cause for celebration, not regret.
