Entre los relatos que más me han gustado están el de Daphne, y los de los libros de Benedict, Eloise, Fr A sweet and heartwarming episode about an exceptionally happy marriage, with an even sweeter surprise. Eloise is a twenty eight year old spinster, and after her best friend/fellow spinster gets engaged, she starts to feel some kind of way. She’s been corresponding by letter to her distant cousin’s widow, and when he suggests marriage, she thinks something she never thought before… maybe. Just maybe.
Anyway, this is one star and almost all of that is Phillip. Eloise's character issues would have dragged a normal story down a star, but Phillip already tanked this one so deep there was no going deeper. He’d find them while they were off on their nature walk with Nurse Millsby. That would be a good idea. Then he could point out some sort of plant and tell them about it, and everything would remain perfectly simple and benign.
