About this deal

Swings and roundabouts, in other words; the Mastodon is good for short to medium distances, but no sniper or long-range artillery rifle. I tried some brand new Panasonic batteries I had lying around and the gun failed to fire the darts very far at all. The rotating drum needs to be put together in three pieces as you feed it through the main part of the gun. I found it easiest to ditch the shoulder strap and hold the Mastodon a little in front of me to get a better aim – at waist level, though, since this isn’t a blaster you’ll be getting up to your cheek for sighting.

How am I supposed to indulge my megalomaniacal fantasies of world domination when I'm being held back by the bulk of a bunch of D batteries? With a little practice I could see this becoming less of a problem, the more someone learns about the firing cycle of the Mastodon. I was able to press-fit the original motor, with a little etape wedged along the side for an extra-tight fit. The Mega Mastodon is a Nerf blaster that was released in fall of 2016 under the N-Strike Mega series.Would someone be able to tell me if the Blaster has a dart checker or if it can rev and fire without darts as well?

The top handle moves back and forth, pivoting on the insertion point for the post it is attached to. The Mastodon is the third largest Nerf blaster ever, being succeeded by the Prometheus MXVIII-20K and the Titan CS-50.Today, we have millions of users a month from around the world, and assess more than 1,000 products a year.

If you have any concerns or questions please contact our Consumer Care department at https://consumercare. If you’ve used any other flywheel blasters it works the same way except it’s MEGA which is somehow cooler! These instances of locking and dart jamming were on the minimal end of the scale too, not to the point where using the blaster was frustrating.

It is so much fun it’s like shooting a blaster but bigger, badder and, you know, er heavier…did I mention it is heavy? if you got no probelm with the "gun" aspect then these things are in general well worth their money. There are two strap points, one in front of the top tactical rail and one at the end of the blaster, which the packaged shoulder strap can be clipped onto.Of course, since this is a flywheel blaster, you have to squeeze the Rev trigger to spin them up before pulling the primary trigger.
