The rollrum was actually decent and the potion of restoration would have been better with less sugar. All eighty dishes—developed by a professional chef from one of the country’s top test kitchens—are delicious, easy to prepare, and composed of wholesome ingredients readily found in our world. Great if you like hearty beef stews, the dark beer broth really makes this stand out though, even as someone who doesn't like beer. The book also invites you to find items like Peapod the squirrel, Bob's paint palette, and his paintbrush within the illustrations. I have made the Hand Pies but not as potent as I would like so I've been working to refine the recipe. As I said above, I've followed Adam's work for years, I enjoy his writing and his cooking, and anytime he shares either a recipe, or just something he himself made I learn something.
