About this deal

I’ve been suffering from a bout of dermatitis recently, causing red spots to appear on my face, like a red lobster. A CC Cream also known as a ‘colour correction’ cream is supposed to even out your skintone and cover up redness without that thick heavy feel of a foundation - well done Bourjois you have nailed it! I’m really impressed by the texture and radiance inducing powers of this and although I’m not brave enough to wear it alone, I’ve been using it as a base - either under foundation or one of the other CC formulas. It also doesn’t need so much powder to set and my makeup pouch is more likely to stay clean because the product won’t run so far around. It can be used to improve skin moisturization, as a solvent, to boost preservative efficacy or to influence the sensory properties of the end formula.

Its 3 colour correcting pigments give a fresh and luminous result with SPF 15 and 24 hour hydration. So citric acid is an exfoliant, that can - just like other AHAs - gently lift off the dead skin cells of your skin and make it more smooth and fresh. Black Iron Oxide is the super common inorganic (as in no carbon atom in the molecule) pigment that controls the darkness of your foundation or gives the blackness to your mascara. On my bad skin days I still prefer a light, fresh coverage and adding a bit of concealer (I use Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage for blemishes and discolorations) than packing on tons of product. I don’t think they are as closely affiliated any longer, but it has been a long and interesting history!

Bourjois’ 123 Perfect CC Cream combines three colour-correcting pigments that work together to target the typical imperfections that are fatigue, redness and dark spots. Unlike many CC Creams I’ve tried over the years, this one is the only one where I can comfortably wear it without once complaining about how sheer it is. Apply Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream onto the center of your face and blend outwards towards the jawline. A clear, light yellow liquid that is used to coat pigments (such as inorganic sunscreen agents or colorants) in cosmetic products. One more thing: the water used in cosmetics is purified and deionized (it means that almost all of the mineral ions inside it is removed). Its 3 colour correcting pigments give your face an ultra-fresh and luminous look while delivering SPF 15 protection and all-day hydration. Apply Bourjois' 123 Perfect Colour Correcting cream onto the centre of your face and blend outwards towards the jawline. I'm just a bit worried about how well it'll last on my oily skin so I may have to look up a few more reviews before I decide whether to give it a go! But the coverage is too sheer for my liking - I felt there was no coverage at all and it was my bare skin I was seeing, whenever I looked in the mirror.
